Grinding and Separation of Battery Materials
Common battery materials requiring grinding and separation:graphite, lithium manganese oxide, lithium iron phosphate, lithium cobalt oxide, ternary materials, lithium carbonate, lithium nickel cobalt, nickel, cobalt and lithium manganese oxide, lithium iron phosphate, manganese dioxide, oxidation cobalt, iron oxalate, lithium hydroxide, lithium hydroxide monohydrate, coke powder, carbon microspheres, asphalt, etc.
Graphite (spherical, flake) is an allotrope of carbon, where each carbon atom is linked with three other carbon atoms in a hexagonal honeycomb structure, covalently bonded to form covalent molecules. Since each carbon atom will emit an electron that electrons can move freely, and therefore belong to the graphite conductor. Graphite is one of the softest mineral with various uses including the manufacture of pencil lead and lubricants.
lithium manganese oxide LiMn₂O₄ was first obtained by Hunter in 1981. A three-dimensional cathode material of lithium ion channels has been the focus of many domestic and foreign scholars and researchers due to its low price as the electrode material with great potential, being environment-friendly and safe performance. Lithium manganese oxide LiMn₂O₄ holds great potential to replace lithium cobalt oxide cathode material LiCoO₂ as the next generation of lithium-ion batteries.
Lithium iron phosphate cathode material is mainly used for all kinds of lithium-ion batteries.
Lithium cobalt oxide, LiCoO₂ is an inorganic compound is generally used as the positive electrode material in lithium-ion battery.
Ternary materials consists of three chemical components (elements), component (elemental and compound) part (parts) consisting of or including alloys, inorganic non-metallic materials, organic materials, polymer composite materials, widely used in mineral extraction, smelting metals, materials processing, new energy and other industries.
Lithium carbonate is an inorganic compound of the formula Li₂CO₃, as a colorless monoclinic crystals or white powder. It has a density of 2.11g / cm³ and a melting point of 618 °C. Lithium carbonate also has various properties such as being soluble in dilute acid, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in alcohol and acetone. It can be used for making ceramics, pharmaceuticals, catalysts, and is a common lithium-ion battery material.
